Pyrethrum 5EC 1L

Natural organic insecticide.
Contains 5% natural pyrethrum

An effective and natural solution to insect pests in horticultural production and organic farming.
Leaves no pesticide residues and does not persist in the environment.
Controls aphids, blackflies, greenflies, caterpillars and whiteflies on ornamentals, soft fruit and vegetables.
For use outdoors, in greenhouses and on pot plants throughout the season.
For use on a range of edible crops and in ornamental plant production.
Crops may be sprayed at 7 day intervals, a maximum of 3 times and harvested 24 hours after the last application.

Some species of plant may be sensitive to Pyrethrum 5EC and show signs of yellowing, particularly after a second application.
Test spray on a small number of plants before spraying larger batches.

Pesticide resistance in glasshouse whitefly and some aphids is widespread.
Where strains resistant to products containing pyrethrins occur, this product is unlikely to give satisfactory control.
