Description
A natural organic plant growth stimulant extracted from the seaweed Ascophyllum Nodosum harvested from the Atlantic Ocean. Its content of growth promoting substances makes it a useful supplement to all fertiliser and spraying programmes. It has a dual action, being used both as a foliar spray and as a soil conditioner.
OceanGlas stimulates the plants activity leading to better root development and an increased uptake in nutrients. More effective use is made of applied fertilisers, and nutrients previously locked in the soil are released.
Photosynthesis and the formation of carbohydrates is encouraged resulting in a stronger cell structure and a naturally healthier plant better able to withstand stress and disease. Plants treated with AlgaeGreen have a better resistance to environmental stresses such as drought and frost as well as improved resistance to Pesticide applications.
Rates of use:
Golf and sports turf: 20 L/Ha
Domestic lawns: 40ml per litre of water
Ornamentals, Shrubs, Vegetables: 2-5 L/Ha (20-25ml per litre of water)
It is recommended to go with monthly applications if possible. Use lots of water on lawns/turf as it works best when it gets down into the soil/roots.
Use within 21 days of opening: this is a very fresh product – goes into drums within 24 hours of harvest. Once the drum is being opened it’s recommended to use up as fast as possible. Oxidation of the product will cause breakdown and it eventually loses its strength once exposed to air.
